Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RizqX ("we", "us") provides halal investment screening and research tools through our website and mobile apps (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@rizqx.sg.

2. What we collect

• Account information. Your email address, name, and password when you create an account, or your Google account email if you sign in with Google.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe or by the Apple App Store / Google Play. We never see or store your full card number; we keep records of your subscription status and billing history.
• Content you add. Favourites, watchlists, portfolio holdings you enter or upload, and messages you send to our AI assistant.
• Usage data. Which pages and features you use, session activity, and basic device and browser information, collected to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service, including your account, subscription, and saved data.
• To respond to support requests and send service-related emails (e.g. password resets, billing).
• To send product updates or newsletters you have opted into — you can unsubscribe anytime.
• To understand feature usage and improve the Service.
• To detect abuse and keep the Service secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we rely on to run RizqX:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account data.
• Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions.
• Apple / Google — payment processing for in-app purchases.
• Google — sign-in, if you choose Google sign-in.
• Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Anthropic — processes messages you send to our AI assistant.
• Resend — sending service emails.

These providers process data on our behalf and may be located outside your country. We may also disclose data if required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account — or request deletion by emailing contact@rizqx.sg — and we will delete your personal data, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@rizqx.sg. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where applicable, other privacy laws that apply to you.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
